Anime Review: Shuffle!

I started watching Shuffle! after almost a year–long hiatus from anime. The break wasn’t for any particular reason other than being busy with real life stuff. Then there’s the growing trend of more and more “ero” in TV anime, which is now being used as a marketing tool to sell DVD and Blu Ray releases. The two things I can’t stand are SD videos and censorship in any medium, so I usually end up waiting a full season or more before watching a show. Shuffle! was a little different because it was actually released several years ago and I just happened to stumble across it by chance.

Game News: Cryptic Studios Gets Bought

It’s been less than a month since Atari announced its plans to sell off Cryptic in favor of less expensive mobile gaming, and it looks like Cryptic already has a buyer, though the deal has yet to be finalized.

In Heavy Rotation: Black Materia

I was sitting on the throne a couple of weeks ago  (the home of some of man’s greatest thoughts, and the place where I like to do most of my reading) flipping through my Game Informer, when I came across  Random and Lost Perception’s latest album in the ‘buy this stuff’ section. I’ll admit it, I almost laughed out loud at the idea of a Final Fantasy 7 hip hop album. I lol’ed, but I didn’t rotfl because then there would have been some serious cleaning to do; lord knows I get enough of that from my dog.
